We stumbled across The Brickyard Downtown recently and boy are we glad we did. This this upscale and contemporary restaurant and bar is located at 85 W. Boston Street in beautiful downtown Chandler.
The Brickyard Downtown offers an expansive, seasonal food menu (Spring & Summer or Fall & Winter) and an equally expansive cocktail menu. Everything looked and sounded so good on the menu, it was hard to decide what to order. Our waitress was great in explaining everything and making recommendations on the restaurant’s popular dishes. She was very friendly was very comfortable in her knowledge of the menu.
As an appetizer we ordered the Loaded Fingerling Potatoes made with Truffle Cream, Bacon, Parmesan and Chives for $8. This dish was absolutely to die for. All of the ingredients worked together so well, it was like a little bit of heaven.
For dinner we ordered the Mini Bricks and Short Rib “Osso Buco”. The Mini Bricks is a dish of beef patties, lettuce, onion, pickle, cheese, Brickyard Special Sauce and comes with French fries for just $11. The Short Rib “Osso Buco” dish consists of root vegetables, Korean BBQ sauce and Horseradish Crema for $18. The short ribs were incredibly tender, it literally fell apart on the fork. Both dishes were perfectly prepared, amazing and very delicious.
During our dinner, we had the pleasure of meeting Bobby Kramer. Bobby serves as the Head Bar Keep and Mixologist. He introduced himself at our table when he came over to inquire on how our dining experience was going so far. Bobby was very warm and inviting, he answered all of our questions about the menu and the history of the restaurant. Bobby is responsible for the creation of 13 hand crafted original cocktails from the drink menu, aka Brickyard Book.
This was a great experience from the moment we stepped into the establishment. The food was absolutely AMAZING! And the service was amazing as well. We highly recommend checking out this establishment. We too will be back to experience the fall and winter dishes that are offered.
