The most popular 2018 delivery order in Phoenix
Phoenix customers of food delivery service Postmates ordered more Gadzooks enchiladas this year than any other item, according to Food & Wine.
The foodie blog reported on newly released from Postmates, which said an order of two enchiladas from the Valley-based build-your-own enchilada chain was the most popular non-chain dish in Phoenix this year.
According to Food & Wine, Postmates customers ordered from more than 200,000 food vendors this year, and looking through the data revealed some fun facts. For example, New Yorkers are the best tippers. Unfortunately, there was no data on how well Phoenix diners tip, but one New Yorker tipped over $11,000 this year on more than 600 orders.
Gadzooks, which opened its first location in 2013 at Seventh Street and Osborn Road in Phoenix, has steadily grown in popularity and footprint. The budding chain has a location on 40th Street and Camelback Road, as well as others planned for Tempe, Chandler and Gilbert.
