Arizona Cocktail Week-End Is Brimming With Free Seminars, Boozy Brunches, Piña Colada Pool Party and More

Coming to Downtown Phoenix this Feb. 16 – 19, tickets to the 7th annual AZCW start at $40, and are on sale now

 (Phoenix, AZ) – The 7th annual Arizona Cocktail Week-End just announced the 2018 lineup of exciting events, tastings, seminars, poolside piña colada parties and more spirited fun in the Phoenix sun coming this February 16 – 19. Now hosted in the heart of Downtown Phoenix, the 2018 AZCW kicks off on Friday, February 16 with a free Official Arizona Cocktail Week-End Launch Party, hosted by Toki Japanese Whisky at the Hotel Palomar’s Lustre Rooftop Bar + Pool. Plus, enjoy just-announced seminars such as The Wonderful World Of Vermouth with Bitter & Twisted’s Ross Simon, or a Women and Whiskey Class and Lunch w/ Beam Suntory. And don’t miss out on tasty day-drinking events such as Yoga & Brunch with Tanqueray 10 London Dry Gin, a “Meet the Distillers” Brunch with Azuñia Tequila or a Piña Colada Pool Party with Don Q Rum.

 

All that is prelude to the 2018 Arizona Cocktail Week-End’s three signature events: starting on Saturday, February 17 with an all-new opening night party named The Cocktail Jam. Hosted at Downtown’s hottest new music hall, The Van Buren, The Cocktail Jam (8 pm to midnight) will pair the Valley’s own Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra and a soon-to-be-announced national act with amazing craft cocktails to create a one-of-a-kind experience. Then on Sunday, February 18, it’s the return of Top Bars (8 pm to midnight) showcasing pop-up versions of renowned bars from around the state, and across the globe, all in one location. Now hosted at the historic warehouse turned hip event venue, The Croft, 2018 participants include Aria (LV), B&GC (Denver), Bar X (SLC), Bazaaar by José Andrés (LA), Copper Common (SLC), False Idol (SD), Five to One (DC), Front & Cooper (Santa Cruz), Herbs & Rye (LV), Level 5 (Albuquerque), Leyenda (NYC), The Millhouse (Maui), Nickel City (Austin), Tommy’s (SF), Stepping Stone Café (Cartagena, Columbia), Under Current Bar (SLC), Union Lodge No. 1 (Denver), Water Witch (SLC), accompanied by AZ favorites such as Bitter & Twisted, Blue Hound Kitchen & Bar, The Breadfruit & Rum Bar, The Brickyard, Clever Koi, The Gladly, Hotel Congress, Market Street Kitchen, OBON, Scott & Co., Tough Luck Club and UnderTow.
