Loaded Baked Potato $2.49
Half Slab of Ribs $12.99 (A half slab of St. Louis cut ribs, with a homemade side dish, bread.)
On a nice Sunday afternoon, we decided to take a journey to down town Gilbert. Gilbert’s downtown scene reminds me of a mini-strip of restaurant and eateries from burgers, Italian foods, Mexican foods, and soul foods. We decided on one of America’s old faithful foods, BBQ! Joe’s Real BBQ. Everyone loves BBQ, at least everyone that I know of.
Joe’s Real BBQ consist of several tasty meats, from Barbecue ribs, chopped brisket & pulled pork. All meats are smoked over pecan wood. Housed in a re-purposed church, Joe’s is a family owned and operated business, and has been a staple of the East alley since 1998.
I would have to say, we enjoyed our visit here at Joe’s BBQ. I am glad we arrived 20 minutes prior. This place quickly accumulated a long line of customers in a matter of minutes. I assumed most everyone decided to visit Joe’s BBQ after church service. Joe’s BBQ gives you that back in the old days environment. It’s like eating tasty BBQ with family and friends.
Joe’s Real BBQ Sauce $4.29
